The Sourounding
Mazarrón is set in a wide bay that opens up into the Mediterranean and has a coastline of 35 km. It has two important urban centres: the port and the town capital, five kilometres from the coast. Since its origin, the name of Mazarrón has been linked to the mining wealth of its mountain ranges, which are rich in lead, zinc, silver, iron, alum and red ochre.
Its coast used to be visited by Phoenician traders, fishermen of every era and by former miners, who used it to unwind after their hard day's work.
It's one of the best places to holiday for sun and beach lovers!
CAMPOSOL GOLF
Camposol is an 18 hole championship par 72 golf course set amongst the imposing backdrop of the Murcia's mountain range.The fabulous course will challenge all your golfing skills from the moment you tee off to holing that final putt!
At over 6300 yards and tight fairways, accuracy off the tee is important since some fairways have relatively narrow landing areas. Numerous bunkers await errant green side approaches, and the 7th hole invites the longer hitters to carry the water to the par 4 giving a birdie opportunity for those who are brave enough to take it on.

BY PLANE:
There are two international airports:
Alicante (ALC), which is a 70 mins drive from Camposol - here you can get daily flights from all European airports!
Murcia (RMU), which is just 30 mins away - unfortunately this new and lovely aitport only gets flights from UK, Ireland, Belgium & inland Spain...
You can get very cheap and reliable car rentals at both airports!
By car:
Even if it is a long drive, we always love to stay overnight in beautiful private guesthouses/hotels in France or Spain - please ask us for recommendations, especially if you are travelling with your dogs!
